Fashion Week in February is no joke. Shit is mad cold! 5 degree weather Saturday got my fingers barely living on my hands and my piggy toes hardly maintaining a […]
For centuries, the utilization of fashion and its ultimate purpose has changed over time. Believe it or not – the beautiful “peacocks” were once the men. Dressed with prestige, men […]
Hi Guys, I know I haven’t posted in awhile, and many of you are wondering why. I am currently in the process of moving to a NJ high-rise condo from […]
1:2 – the ratio that represents that there is 1 for every 2 of something. See examples below: One shirt, two skirts – the concept in which there are multiple […]
Stuck on what to give with only 3 days left?I’ve done my fair share of gifting myself. But now, it’s other people’s turns. Family, friends, loved ones – those are the people who have been with you since day one and it is time to show them some love. Here are some of my last-minute gifting ideas.
“Am I only publicizing the glamorous life that my followers want to see or am I really living an authentic life and capturing it through photographs? Social media can be daunting for many – Instagram models are starving for attention both metaphorically and literally; fitness bloggers are overdosing on supplements and Creatine in order to capture that extra definition in their 8-pack abs; beauty queens are teaching others to feel beautiful even though they only feel beautiful with the assisted, blended strokes of a makeup brush. Then there are the fashion bloggers who are spending way out of their means so they can display their iconic designer bags and shoes in their public photo galleries. Is getting thousands of likes, comments, and millions of followers worth putting your life on pause, stunting the natural growth of moments in time in order to pose for a black box with a flash?”
Life Is A Simple Formula – Do you ever feel like you just want to slap everyone’s face that passes by just because everything is just pissing you off? Sometimes, I can be in such a bitter mood and can find anything in the world to complain about. ‘Oh, my commute was 15 minutes longer today because some stupid conductor said there was train traffic,’ says every New Yorker as they take the subway to work every morning during rush hour. ‘I am so f*cking exhausted after work, I don’t ever have the time to work out and here I am just getting fatter by the second!’ says everybody with a desk job. And the most dreadful and painful one of all, ‘I hate my life.’
Up, Up, & Away – This weekend, I told myself to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Away from the stresses of work, the crowded subways, pollution, noisy cars, and expensive lattes.
My post this evening is going to be a lot more than my outfit in these pictures. It is meant to inspire those who struggle with identifying ourselves every day. […]
I know it’s getting a little chilly out there, New Yorkers. But have no fear: here’s a little outfit for you guys to remind you of the late summer days.
