My Sensitive Skincare Routine
Find out what my sensitive skin needs to maintain its healthy glow and moisture!
As requested by popular demand, I finally present to you…. *drum roll please* … my everyday skincare routine for sensitive skin! Skincare is such an important step to my beauty regimen, and if you have sensitive skin like I do, this routine is just for you! I like to think of it as a long-term investment in myself because I’m not getting any younger, and neither is my skin! So, without further ado, let’s get right into my skincare routine for sensitive skin.
Step 1: Skinfix Calm & Repair Mask
I usually like to put this mask on the night before as I’m about to get into bed. This mask is more like a deep moisturizer that you leave on overnight. Even with sensitive skin, this product does not cause any breakouts on my skin. It is one of my favorite products for dry skin and it even has a light, fresh cucumber-like scent!
Step 2: Tula Probiotic Face Wash
This Tula product is a probiotic gel cleanser that penetrates deep into your pores to removes impurities. This cleanser works wonders for breakouts and exfoliates your skin at the same time without drying it out. Great for sensitive skin that breaks out and can develop rashes or redness.
Step 3: Laneige Fresh Calming Toner
What I love about Laniege’s Fresh Calming Toner is that it is hypoallergenic and formulated without oil or alcohol. Their toner is made up of nutrient-rich ingredients such as deep sea water and lychee peel extract. These key ingredients help hydrate sensitive skin and deliver instant comfort and soothing relief.
Step 4: AmorePacific Single Extract Essence
Using carefully cultivated green tea from Jeju Island, this anti-aging essence is a must-have for any skincare routine. Not only does this essence prevent further signs of aging, but it also improves the appearance of your skin’s texture and elasticity. Applying this essence after your toner really helps lock in the moisture!
Step 5: Glow Recipe Pineapple-C Bright Serum
Sometimes, I like to switch up my serums depending on what my skin needs. When I want to brighten the tone of my face, I always go for this serum because the antioxidant-rich vitamin C ingredients really make my skin glow and shine. This serum is perfect to combat dark spots, hyperpigmentation, and acne scars. It also uses natural skin soothers such as chamomile and aloe to keep your skin glossy and refreshed all day. For those with sensitive skin, I would recommend not using this every day – maybe 2-3 times a week!
Step 6: Image Skincare Ormedic Balancing Bio-Peptide Creme
When my face breaks out (because it is sensitive), I tend to lean towards organic products like Image Skincare. Their Ormedic Balancing Bio Peptide Creme is amazing because it uses age-defying nutrients and antioxidants to restore moisture. What’s even better is that this creme is made with organic Japanese white tea, aloe vera, chamomile, and grape-seed extract. The combination of these ingredients makes the creme smell so pleasant, like the guava fruit. Every time I put it on, I feel like I’m rewarding myself because it’s so fragrant and it makes my skin feel so rejuvenated.
Step 7: Skinfix Calm & Rejuvenate Eye Cream
Similar to the Calm & Repair Mask, Skinfix makes every body part that I apply their products on feel incredibly moisturized, like a baby’s butt! This eye cream is no exception. It has a lotion texture and you can feel the moisture seep into the skin right away. This product is also great for putting on before eye makeup because it doesn’t pill as many eye creams do.
