Dry Skincare: Why You Need To Use Cocoa Butter Formula

The ONE Product That Heals All

The Struggle of Dry Skincare
Winter Skin Essentials: Cocoa Butter
Are you suffering from the winter cold and struggling to find an effective and natural dry skincare routine? Well, try incorporating cocoa butter into your skincare for every part on your body from the lips, face, feet, and hair! Who knew that the very same cocoa beans used to make chocolate are also beneficial for your dry skincare routine?
As a person who genetically suffers from chronic dry skin, the winter season is always really tough on me. To static-y hair, cracked calluses on my feet, and to ripped cuticles on my nails, I probably have one of the worst cases of dry skin out there. Legit, every time I shower or wash my hands or come in contact with ANY water, I need to replenish my skin with some heavy body or hand cream otherwise my skin will split and rupture like volcanic rock during an eruption. (Visually graphic, I know – but it’s the most accurate depiction of my disposition).
The Remedy: Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula Jar with Vitamin E
Luckily, I discovered Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Jar this winter season and fell in love. First of all, I opened this jar of goodness and took one sniff and it took me into a land of heavenly chocolate. The light fragrance of chocolate sent me into a world of bliss and I couldn’t wait to try it out.
Then came time to actually use the product. With one scoop, I immediately put it directly on my dry hands and cuticles and after a few seconds, my hands felt super smooth. I had just finished my at-home manicure, and this was the perfect finish to seal in the moisture on my hands. And if it couldn’t get any better, Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Jar also contains Vitamin E, which is a powerful antioxidant that helps heal the skin of scars, stretch marks, and other imperfections. Talk about the added bonus of even and smooth skin tone!
In just 3.5 ounces (other sizes are available too), this jar has so many healing properties to add to your dry skincare, and just a little bit goes a long way. I have a feeling this jar will last throughout the entire winter season…and probably many more months (which is great because winter isn’t going away anytime soon).
The 101 Uses
Amazed by this all-in-one product, I did some further research into Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula Jar and discovered that there are actually 101 uses for it! In addition to all of the benefits above, you can use it to remove your makeup, smooth out fly-aways, and nourish your chapped lips. On top of all that, Palmer’s happens to be the first brand to develop a cocoa butter product (since 1973!) for the mass market. And for all my animal lovers out there, Palmer’s is a “cruelty free” brand that does not test their products on our furry friends!
Alright guys, I could go on forever about how much I love this product and why you should put it into your dry skincare routine, but why don’t I just shut up, let you try it, and have the product speak for itself.
Until next time!
Xoxo,
Kasey

says:Ah so glad you stopped by then! For makeup remover, I use the cocoa butter jar listed in my blog post and just put it on a q-tip or a cotton pad and just rub off the foundation! It starts melting as soon as you rub it in. Hope this helps! 🙂
