NYFW Day 7 Look and Event Recap

Alas my final outfit recap is here from NYFW Day 7!

Apologies for the delay – I’ve been churning out so many blog posts lately, it became so overwhelming and exhausting to try to finish one everyday. Not only did attending so many shows, events, and photoshoots exhaust me, but the follow-up recaps were just as intense. I barely slept more than 3-5 hrs during each day of NY Fashion Week, and had little to no time to recover since I needed to write more blog posts after. Being a blogger is tough during NYFW – I love it, but man, it is so tiring!

Also, as a quick note, I’ve  put together this amazing Youtube video where I talk about my 1^st Botox experience for Jawline reduction! So, back to Day 7 of NFYW. The weather was holding up more on the last day, so I decided to opt for these beautiful wine-colored lace shorts. I found alternate ones that are super affordable. I thought the lace and soft color of the shorts went so well with the off-the-shoulder black faux fur jacket I had. Everything about the look was very feminine so far.

As you may know, I’m a sucker for making feminine vibes more edgy, so I opted for chunky combat boots that have a thick heel on it to strut down the NYC streets. I love these boots because they’re fierce and strong, but also have a heel to add a touch of femininity.  Shop similar here and here.

To add more power to my look, I paired my boots with these sick lighting bolt socks from Happy Socks. They are directly here, and I found similar ones here and here. I am obsessed with these socks because they are warm and super unique – two necessary attributes for all February New York Fashion Weeks.

Last but not least were my funky accessories: my Brahmin Lane bag and my cute reflective sunglasses. My bag is not only super cool in texture and blue colors, it is also surprisingly roomy inside. Even though it looks small, I was able to fit my Sony vlogging camera, phone, portable battery, and touch-up makeup inside. Unlike other bags that look this good, Brahmin has managed to price this at $295!

Now, onto the sunglasses. In general, I love reflective glasses as they add a lot of statement to an otherwise simple outfit. I am obsessed with these rose gold tones and gold and black frames. Yay Sunshine makes them and the entire brand makes glasses that are more fit to Asian faces who have flatter noses! If you’re Asian like me, you totally know what I’m talking about – it’s extremely hard to find larger sunglasses that don’t fall off your nose with a simple movement of your head. This brand has fixed the problem and created a solution for both fashionable and worry-free sunglasses.

NYFW Day 7 Event Recap

The last day of NYFW was fun and a great ending to the Fashion Week. I started the day with Leanne Marshall, had a photoshoot with my photographer, then attended Marcel Ostertag. I ended my day with one of my favorite PR firms to date, Tractenberg, and celebrated Valentine’s Day with them along with meeting some of my favorite brands.

Overall, although it was super hectic, NYFW this Season was extremely rewarding as I got to see a lot my favorite fashion blogger friends in addition to previewing what looks are coming for the Fall/Winter of 2018. It was such a success, and I already can’t wait for NYFW in September!
