Feminine White Ruffles and Masculine Plaid Pants Straight from Italy- NYFW Outfit Highlight #1

IMG_0256

Sorry guys it’s been so long since I’ve found some time to recap my NYFW outfits and highlights. It was definitely my busiest season yet! I’m going to start off my first post with my first favorite outfit, my second post with my second, and so on and so forth throughout this past NYFW. My last post will be a recap, so stay tuned for the highlights of my week!

My first fav outfit came straight from Italy. Literally. My entire wardrobe came from a super cute store in SoHo called Official Made in Italy. The store embraces its very own name: every single brand in there is made in Italy. This season, I was so happy and proud to be dressed head to toe with their brands. What I wore ranged from sunglasses, blouses, pants, to leather gloves. I felt like a bougie European badass with class. #watchout

(Please note*: Official Made in Italy was a popup shop in NYC and is no longer there. They are currently launching their popup shop now in London. But, hey who knows? They may be coming to a huge luxury department soon 😉 )

For this look, I wanted to play up my femininity with a touch of masculinity. I chose a beautiful white button-up blouse from Bisso Milano that was lined with these beautiful, pleated ruffles. The open bell sleeves demonstrated strength and sexiness, making me feel like a beautiful queen whenever I moved my arms.

To add a more androgynous feel, I slid on these structured navy blue and green plaid pants by Pantaloni Torino and a fastened on a Calvin Klein belt. For shoes, I opted for a similar unisex look with one of my favorite customized boots from Qüero.

Now, to the accessories. As the sales manager and I roamed around the store trying on every piece of jewelry, we finally opted for some elegant, dusty gold pieces by Diva Gioielli. I seriously got complements on these everywhere I went! These pieces were simple, but strong at the same time in their color, structure, and pops of stones.

Then, to add another feminine aspect, I put on these amazing leather gloves by Portolano. I fell in love with the green fox fur Pom poms – they were super cute and super soft!

Finally, I finished off with these Essedue sunglasses. The shades are really cool as the lenses are comprised of two layers: the back is shaped like a cat eye, then these giant circular lenses are layered on top. I thought these shades added so much style and really pulled together my final look with finesse.

Stay tuned for more upcoming #NYFW2017 outfit posts!
