An exclusive look behind-the-scenes styling Aria Jay
Hey guys! The Stylewright is back and better than evahhh! After NYFW, I thought things would slow down a bit, but boy was I wrong. Meetings, parties, events, and styling sessions inundated my weekly calendar. In this post, I will highlight two events: 1) The Daniel Wellington Black Classic Watch Campaign and 2) Being a Stylist for singer-songwriter Aria Jay.
Daniel Wellington Black Classic Campaign
I had a great kickoff to fun-filled events by being part of the Daniel Wellington #BlackClassic campaign. Not only did they send me their newest watch, they also invited me to a photoshoot where only 8 other influencers were selected. The shoot was at the super cute Daniel Wellington Pop-Up shop in Soho. Everything was so professional: the photographer, the setup, and the rest of the DW team. At the end, they offered me “bubbles” (which I found out meant champagne in Swedish). And then the next evening, I met some amazing bloggers at their Classic Black Launch Party, and was gifted with yet another watch! Their new NATO strap is super cool and stylish- I don’t have to worry about the leather stretching out or breaking, so it is a great option.

Here I am charmin’ it up with one of the trendiest fashion jewelry stores around: Charming Charlie on 5th Avenue. This specific spot is fairly new – it opened up right by my office, and when the construction was finally done, I had to make my way into this magical land. This two-floored store merchandises their product by theme, color, type of jewelry, any other category…you name it. I was in absolute awe my first stop through the doors. There was so much beauty to my eyes, I couldn’t believe it. Kudos to the visual merchandisers! I nearly bought over $100 worth of products within 20 minutes and their jewelry is only $5-$15 a piece! They also sell affordable and fashion-right shoes and dresses.

I decided my bag didn’t match today with my outfit, so I brought out my good old red Chanel quilted lambskin wallet. This was my first Chanel purchase ever that initiated my endless addiction with the brand. And I mean, endless. If you ever run into me in NYC, it’ll most likely be on 5th Ave, shopping.

Every year, I spend my Independence Day surrounding myself with family, lots of chicken wings, and beer. This year, the food and beverage stayed the same, but I spent the day with my friends whom I’ve grown up with since middle school. It was a nice change of scenery going back to the ‘burbs, reminiscing on my childhood days of greenery, paved driveways and the sound of giddy kids running after the ice cream truck.
I usually strut in heels wherever I go, but the journey was too treacherous from Manhattan, so I sported a casual pair of sandals with a classic pair of old-fashioned ripped-on-the-edge white jean shorts and a newly bought fringe crop top (almost crop top?). Then, of course, I couldn’t forget my lovely Chanel WOC.
