Transitioning into Autumn Hues

Wow I miss New York Fashion Week already! I mostly went to shows and previews in the beginning of the week rather than the end, as a lot for me has been going on lately that has otherwise kept me occupied. I’ll let you guys know soon what that is…maybe ;). Also, taking care of my new puppy is like taking care of a baby! Einstein’s been wonderful – I can’t believe he’s 4 months now – he can soon start going to the doggy park in Central Park and I cannot wait for him to play with other doggies!

As we transition into windier days and colder nights, we have to start covering up our pretty legs and opt for light layers. Sad that we’ll be saying a few farewells to our neighborhood sun, but we are saying hello to outfits that give us a lot more options, especially in layering.

I’ve been shopping lately a lot because my closet needs a definite refresh. I’ve wanted patterned, breathable pants for awhile, and I thought these were exquisite in design. And they were extremely affordable.

I never fail to have a cheesin’ shot on a photoshoot. Never.

Most of the time, I find it quite a task to find pants that fit my shorter frame, so when I find one, game over. It’s mine. Not yours. 🙂

I feel like Jasmine from Aladdin in this outfit. I really feel like if Jasmine fast-forwarded to modern-day clothes, she may have worn this outfit.

And of course, just practicing my runway walk. :p. Don’t want to say bye to these crop tops yet! This wine colored top is such a great basic for my closet – it goes with all of my high-waisted skirts, shorts, pants, whatever!

Top: Brandy Melville

Pants: H&M

Shoes: Audrey Brooke Hylda Pump in Suede Black from DSW

Bracelet: H&M

Anywhos, let’s start off the week with a wonderful restful Sunday, shall we ? Also, has anyone given thought to their Halloween costume yet? I sure haven’t…maybe I should be Jasmine now haha.

Until next time – Xoxo,

Kasey
